Has to be the simplest thing to make – grab some ready-made peanut butter.
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda/Soda Bicarbonate
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla essence
- 1/2 – 1 cup sugar depending on whether the PB is sweetened and how sweet you want the cookies to be
- 1/2 cup butter
- choco chips
- 1 egg
Start by creaming the sugar, salt, essence, butter, PB. Add the egg and vanilla. Beat. Now add flour, baking soda into this. Sprinkle the choco chips. The consistency will be a bit liquid — now just lay out the mixture on a baking tray divided into 6-8 portions. Flatten with a fork. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 7-8 minutes. Dont let them burn.
Turns out nice and chewy on the inside, crisp on the outside.
